Add a comment to a cell

Comments include the author’s name and the date and time the comment was written. Comments are color-coded by author.

Add a comment to a cell

  1. Select the cell you want to add a comment to.

  2. Click Comment button in the toolbar, then type the comment.

    Click away from the comment to close it.

Move the pointer over a cell to read its comment. To see the previous or next comment, click the left or right arrows in a comment. To delete a comment, click Delete in the comment.

To change the author name, choose Keynote > Preferences (from the Keynote menu at the top of your screen). Click General, then type a name in the Author field.

To change the author color, choose View > Comments > Author Color (from the View menu at the top of your screen), then choose a color.
