Use iTunes to transfer files
You can use iTunes on your computer to directly transfer presentations between your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch and your computer. This is useful for transferring presentations when you aren’t using iCloud.
Transfer a presentation from your computer

Connect your iOS device to your computer, then open iTunes on your computer.
After a moment, your iOS device appears in the right side of the iTunes window.
In iTunes, select your iOS device, then click Apps in the toolbar.

Scroll to the bottom of the window, then select Keynote (under File Sharing).
If you don’t see the File Sharing section, make sure you’re not scrolling the Apps list.
Click the Add button below the Keynote Documents list.

Locate and select the presentation, then click Add.
The presentation appears in the Keynote Documents list in iTunes.
Select the presentation in iTunes, then click Sync.
Open Keynote on your iOS device.
In the presentation manager, tap , then tap Copy from iTunes.

Tap the presentation.
When the transfer is complete, the presentation appears in the presentation manager.
You can open presentations that were saved using Microsoft Office and edit them in Keynote. If you can’t open an encrypted PowerPoint presentation, try changing the type of encryption or the encryption options used, then save it again before opening it in Keynote.
Transfer a presentation to your computer

Open Keynote on your iOS device, then do one of the following:
If the presentation is open: Tap (on iPad, tap if the presentation is shared in iCloud), then tap Send a Copy.
If the presentation is closed: Tap in the presentation manager, tap Send a Copy, then tap the presentation you want to transfer.
Tap the presentation format you want to export: Keynote, PDF, or PowerPoint.
Tap iTunes.

Connect your iOS device to your computer (or use iTunes Wi-Fi Sync), and open iTunes on your computer.
After a moment, your iOS device appears on the right side of the iTunes toolbar.
In iTunes on your Mac, select your iOS device, then click Apps.

Scroll to the bottom of the window, then select Keynote (under File Sharing).
If you don’t see the File Sharing section, make sure you’re not scrolling the Apps list.
Select the presentation, click Save to, choose a location, then click Save to.
